basket

Basket:

This basket was one of my big accomplishments at the time that I finished it, in early September of 2004 (not quite a year after I had started mailling).  It took me a total of about three days.  For my first basket, it's not bad; I had an inordinate amount of beginner's luck with it.  The sides are almost perfectly rigid, and the bottom barely droops.  It is about 4 1/4" across, which is not terribly large but a fair size at any rate.

Someone suggested that, if I could fill the bottom with clear plastic, it would make a perfect ash tray...ha ha ha but no thanks.
