Scale Purse
Technically this isn't quite chainmaille, but it is very close to being
the same thing, as you can see from the inside view of the purse.
Really a very fun piece to do, stepping outside my usual comfort zones. Scale for the main body, and leather for the strap -- I salvaged it from an old black mini-backpack, but still had to do some leatherworking of my own to suit it to the purse.
I also lost some blood on this piece, trying to close a ring on that bottom seam. My pliers slipped, and sent my knuckles skidding across the darn scales.
