Ocean Waves Bracelet
I think this was the very first bracelet I made upon receiving my first
shipment of enameled copper. It worked out so perfectly -- it
was conference week at school, so I had two half days and then Friday
off. The wire came Wednesday afternoon, so I had an
extra-long weekend to play with it. I didn't come out of my
room the entire time.
Can you guess what the bracelet's sitting on in the photo? (Hint:
icicle. Oops, I think that hint gave it away.) We got
about a foot of snow over the span of a week, and then it started
melting, so...oh boy, big icicles. And what's really cool is,
when you set a little metal bracelet on the ice, it melts in and leaves
an imprint...
