Earrings Spectrum
Sometimes you start working on something and then totally go off on a
roll with it. I don't make a lot of earrings normally
(although I should, they sell like...sheesh), but one Saturday I sat
down with some pretty enameled copper rings, and didn't leave the room
all day except to show off the latest pair I had finished.
Rings (left to right):
20 ga 7/64" ID Gunmetal and Brown EC
18 ga 5/32" ID Gold-plate
In the Japanese 12-2 weave (although it was almost too dense to weave...
notice that big gap in the middle? That's because the gold rings wouldn't accept two more little ones)
20 ga 7/64" ID Burgundy, Red, Silvered Tangerine, Silvered Peach, and
Silvered Lemon EC
In the European 4:1 weave
20 ga 7/64" ID Black and Red EC
In the Byzantine weave, with three disk-shaped clear beads at the
bottom of each (tad difficult to see in this photo).
20 ga 7/64" ID Silvered Ice Blue EC
16 ga 3/16" ID Sterling Silver
No particular weave -- just 1-1-1 with some rings dangling off the
sides. Each has a Swarovski crystal teardrop hanging at the
bottom.
20 ga 7/64" ID Silvered Amethyst EC
Romanov units -- chains of Byzantine surrounding a central bead.
