This started with a pre-existing blackened steel shirt that a customer owned (I didn't make the shirt).  It used to be a plain, straight-cut design with no frills.  The Blackened Steel coif was commissioned first to go with the shirt, and shortly after finishing that project, I was asked to add an inlay and trim to the original shirt.  It worked out well: the customer liked the Tree of Gondor inlay pattern, which really needs a black background, making this shirt the perfect setting.  So after replacing a couple hundred rings and adding a few more, here's the revamped version of the original, now with a stainless steel inlay and dagged bronze trim on the hems.

Additions are same size, Stainless Steel and Bronze
All in the classic European 4:1 weave.
