No wonder you chipped the blade on your snips cutting wire, they arent made to cut wire! They are made to cut sheet metal. Glad you got a real pair of cable cutters so you dont break perfectly good tools misusing them.

You do very nice work. But it looks like it's been over a year since you updated. I would love to see more.
I appreciate artists that don't mind teaching others or sharing their knowledge. Thank you for your site.

Thanks for taking the time to journal your work. Your site provided a lot of instruction for me as I am new to the craft. I do have a question on the cutting the rings though. I am using a pair ot the Wiss M5 snips, though my cuts do not seem all that clean. I am using 16G Galv Steel on a 3/8 Mandrel. Thanks for any suggestion

Amazing work! I started a week ago and this weekend I've got my first patch put together. It's great to see what can be done with a lot patience. Keep up the great work!

Hi Elizabeth-
I jumped a link over here from the MAIL forums, and I'm so glad I did!
You site is so nicely put together. I spent the most time admiring your jewelry, in fact, I can't wait to get cutting because I need to be having that much fun, too. And I really loved your mix of sterling and titanium and the richness in the effect they produce together.
Oh, and I love the da Vinci puzzle, too!
And I think I've got to give those hoodoo pendants a try. I really like the nautical edge (pun unintended) they have as my grandfather was a pioneering sea captain with the cruiseships in SE Alaska, and the giant ship's helm wheels remind me of him. The new ships these days only have a panel full of buttons and levers, and that just doesn't translate so well to jewelry.
Anyway, thank-you for your beautiful site. I'll be back many more times I'm sure.

I am currently working on my first chainmaille bra, believe it or not. I'm using Captive Orbital Hex Cage by Blaise for the cups(34"a"), and euro six in one snakeskin(single strip) for the straps. Using braided aluminum shilding from coax cable to reinforce the cup perimiter and the straps.
