Fourth Coif: Bronze
I had all these massive bronze rings laying around, left over from a
TRL order. They weren't going to be used for anything, so I
decided I may as well try another coif. But since the rings were
so big and had such a massive AR, I decided that I would do it in
European 6:1 to make the weave denser (more dense? is "denser" a
word?). So anyway I asked around a bit to figure out how to make
a 6:1 coif, and this is what I came up with. The first nine rows
down from the queen ring are in a smaller size, and in European 4:1,
and from there down the larger-ring 6:1 takes over. I managed to
make the thing in four days, with maybe nine or ten work hours total.
I have to apologize for this utterly crappy picture. It's a
self-portrait, at night, using only a wall mirror and no tripod,
so...I'm surprised it came out even this well.
